What is the Young ELS

The Young ELS is a community within the European Laryngological Society, uniting early-career professionals with a shared interest and ambition in laryngology.

The Young ELS was established in 2025, during the 15th ELS Congress in Warsaw, with the mission to connect, support and promote the careers of young ENT clinicians and researchers in the field of laryngology. Through collaboration, education, and research, the group aims to expand knowledge, improve patient care, and foster networking opportunities across Europe.

The Young ELS Community is open to all ELS members under the age of 40, regardless of their membership type. Whether junior, associate, or regular members, anyone under 40 is welcome to join the Young ELS community by selecting the “Young ELS Community” option on their personal profile in the society membership system gMem.

Residents under 40 are entitled to a two-year free membership of the Young ELS, and are not required to hold any other form of ELS membership subject to uploading a Young ELS Certificate as proof of residency. For more information on how to become a Young ELS member, please visit our Young ELS Become a member tab.
