Who can become member of Young ELS: membership conditions

Residents in the field of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck surgery are welcome to joint the Younge ELS free of charge. Early-career ENT surgeons and/or researchers with interest in the field of Laryngology who are under 40 years of age are also welcome to join the Young ELS network alongside their ordinary ELS membership.

• Residents are entitled to a two-year free membership of the Young ELS, and are not required to hold any other form of ELS membership subject to uploading a Young ELS Certificate as proof of residency.

• After these two years transition to either a junior, associate or regular membership of the ELS should take place depending on the member´s  current status of employment. Such members can still remain part of the Young ELS community alongside the new form of their ELS membership up to the age of 40 years.

• Young career ENT surgeons or researchers/professionals in associated fields who are ELS members and under 40 years of age are welcome to enrol as part of the Young ELS community regardless of their membership status – junior, associate or regular members under 40 are welcome to join the Young ELS community!

How to apply for Young ELS membership

To apply for your Young ELS membership, visit the ELS membership page and register in our gMem membership system in the Young ELS category.

• Are you currently a resident under 40 and do not hold any other membership of the ELS?  Register as a Young ELS member on our membership page and upload your completed and signed Young ELS Certificate so that your request can be approved by our Administrative Secretariat.
• Are you currently a resident under 40 wanting to become part of the Young ELS community but you hold a junior or regular membership? Please contact our Administrative Secretariat so we can assist you.
• Are you a young carreer ENT surgeon under 40 and would like to join the ELS and the Young ELS community? Please select the Ordinary Membership on our membership page. When submitting your registration through gMem, kindly click the option to become part of the Young ELS Community (this option will be available soon). 
• Are you practicing in reasearch or an associated field and under 40, and would like to join the ELS and Young ELS community? Please select the Ordinary or Associate Membership depending on your professional status on our membership page. When submitting your registration through gMem, kindly click the option to become part of the Young ELS Community (this option will be available soon).

Please not that only by registering in our official ELS gMem membership system will you attain access to all the member benefits offered in the ELS Member Zone.
